Ink Oil
Ink Oil
Ink Oil is a highly refined petroleum-based hydrocarbon solvent having a selective distillation range. It is colorless, odorless, chemically stable, having a low polycyclic aromatic level. This non-carcinogenic grade ink oil provides excellent solvency for the color pigments, more viscous, and high molecular resins for superior performance of printing.
Application / Composition of Ink Oil:
- Ink Oil is recommended for use in the manufacturing and processing printing inks.
- The high solvent power of naphthenic oils serves to optimise resin dissolution and pigment wetting, resulting in improved print quality, saving processing time and reducing the expenditure of energy.
- All shriparth oils comply with prevailing Health and Safety regulations.
- Shriparth bitumen varnish is designed for black coldest inks which are ready for use upon delivery, with no additional preparation steps necessary before incorporation to the ink formulation.
