Hydrocarbon Solvent SP D130

SP D130

DEAROMATIZED HYDROCARBON SOLVENT

SP D130 is a clear, low-aromatic hydrocarbon solvent supplied by Shri Parth Petrochem for industrial carrier and formulation applications. Its reported sample viscosity of 4.107 cSt at 40°C and boiling interval of 275.4–335.5°C distinguish it as the heavier grade in the SP D100 / SP D130 range.

Product highlights

  • Clear and bright appearance; reported Saybolt colour +30.
  • Aromatic content: maximum 03% by weight; reported sample 0.001%.
  • Total sulphur specification: maximum 5 ppm by
  • Higher boiling range than SP D100; expected to evaporate more slowly under comparable

Potential applications

Industrial carrier fluids — Evaluate where longer liquid residence and a heavier hydrocarbon carrier are desired.

Drilling-fluid formulations — Consider as a candidate fluid component after rheology, compatibility and application testing.

Mastics, sealants and polymer systems — Evaluate as a carrier or diluent in compatible formulations.

Mould-release formulations — Consider as a carrier for selected release additives, subject to surface-finish and residue trials.

Applications are evaluation opportunities, not blanket performance approvals. Confirm compatibility, drying behaviour and end-use requirements before commercial use.

How to evaluate and use

Begin with a laboratory trial using the actual resin, additives and substrate. Select the addition level for the formulation; no universal dosage applies. Check clarity, separation, viscosity, drying time and residue, then validate the result in a controlled production trial.
